Best pizza slice I've had in Vegas by far. Needed a quick bite before work and noticed this place next door. I'm hardly ever in the Aliante area but I'm so happy I found this place. Got a cheese pizza to go and ate it outside. Nice, LARGE slice with thin crust perfect for folding and eating it like I remember doing in NY. Crust had the perfect crunch and right amount of cheese. Service was prompt and the inside looked really nice with red and white checkered table cloth like n old school pizza place. Will definitely be stopping by again soon to try the rest of the items on the menu.

I'm back, specifically for the Eggplant Parm. Came in last night for the usual family special, and decided to order off the menu tonight. I settled on a Stromboli, and the wife got the eggplant parm. No one in the house l eats eggplant, and she loves it, so that was her choice. Stromboli--crispy, hot, mushroom and sausage goodness. Two tubs of marinara for double fisted dipping. Love it. The eggplant parm was crunchy on top, with a generous portion of eggplant. It was piping hot, served in a cast iron tray. I'm not a fan, but even I took a couple of stabs at her dish. The four garlic knots were also hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We're not Italian, so we can't say "just like mom used to make!" However, we know food, and we were very happy with our choices.

Rocco's is pretty much a neighborhood standard for me.. I use neighborhood loosely.... I mean is Aliante a neighborhood? I mean it seems like a group of gated developments that pretty much stand alone which is fine I guess, I'm not being critical but Aliante doesn't seem like the neighborhoods I grew up in . But anyway, Rocco's is close by, convenient on the way back from the Aliante Casino which I happily donate to frequently. Today, ordered a large margherita pizza and a small salad. I finally learned that the only way (at least for me) that I can make the pizza eatable without falling into my lap (thin crust NY styles are REALLY thin) is to ask for the pizza well done or extra crispy. That way there is sufficient rigidity for me to pick it up and do the NY (and Phila) fold and enjoy the pie. Ok.... The small salad was cold and crispy there was no brown lettuce like happens in many places. Small container of ranch provided as requested. A few minutes later, the pie came out, crispy as requested....good amount of mozz. And prosciutto... The prosciutto was not burnt to a crisp and was pretty yummy. We hoovered down a few pieces, the rest went home in my handy dandy insulated pizza transport bag and is seperated and ready for a few other meals. Requested and received 10% military discount.... $25.00 and change out the door. Pretty good neighborhood pie. Left pleasently full.

We ordered the NY pepperoni palooza, handmade garlic knots, and jalapeño poppers. The garlic knots tasted good as well as the poppers. But watch out this order was greasy make sure to have plenty of napkins! The pepperonis as I a bit into the pizza actually popped! Overall the pizza had good flavor. They gave us two cups of marinara. The marinara was a little watery with little flavor. Overall, good food.

Been awhile but I was thinking about this place. I ordered the "Everything" medium pizza. Something seemed different. The crust was different almost like a frozen feel to it. I know they're not using frozen pizza crust, just trying to identify the difference from what I normally see. The cheese didn't seem fully melted (see photo) and maybe that's the reason for the crust seeming different as well, not enough bake time. Even with these unusual irregularities, I still enjoyed the pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, ham, and mushrooms that was on the frozen flavor resembled pizza crust. I think that if I ordered again tomorrow the same thing, my pizza would be completely prepared differently. Any way, this is still a good place to come and eat.

Great local NY Pizzeria/Restaurant! The pizzas are always yummy but there's something for everyone if you don't want pizza. They also have awesome family and lunch specials.

My favorite pizzeria in Aliante. Today, I ordered the extra large Meatlovers and the Italian Sub. The ingredients were fresh and the spices made the food really tasty. The staff are always friendly and service is quick. The restaurant has that old neighborhood feeling from the New York and New Jersey where I grew up.

This place has it all. From great service, to cleanliness, to dining, easy parking, and excellent food!! The pizza joint is easy find and parking is easily assessable. It is located in a plaza with a ton of other restaurants and shopping so you can easily have other things to do in the area. As we entered, we were immediately greeted and welcomed in. We were told that if we wanted to dine in we can find a seat and someone will be right with us. We opted for take out. The place is very open and very clean. Everyone in there was busting their butts trying to get these orders out, because at 630 pm on a Saturday night, they were hauling getting those online and pick up orders ready. They offer pizza by the place and on their display was a beautiful extra large cheese pie ready for order. I assume you can add the toppings but we chose to order an XX large meat lovers and mozzarella sticks. Our total came out to 38.99 and our order was ready within 15 minutes. I should also note that a gentlemen checked in with us to let us know that our pizza will be out shortly - I found that small detail very important. Now, on to the pie. At first glance I thought it looked really good but I would have preferred for the cooking time to be about 2 minutes longer, as I prefer to see my cheese slightly burned and bubbled... but...wow! The slices are the size of a mini pizza lol. So if you plan on feeding 6-8 people I advise asking them to slice it accordingly. We each had one slice and that was plenty! The ingredients tasted of great quality, the cheese was perfectly melted and the sausage and pepperoni were delicious and tasted fresh! You can see from the pictures that the pizza makers put a lot of love into making sure the pie was perfect. This is a great Brooklyn style pizza place. The mozzarella sticks were good but what stood out to me was their marinara sauce. I particularly loved that it wasn't sweet and had a slight tang to it. I wish I tried this place sooner because it is now going to be my go to spot for pizza. I'll make sure to ask for a little extra cooking time next time but this is going to be one of my recommendations for anyone asking where they can find good pizza. Thank Rocco's for the great food and the excellent service :)
